Meet Kristen
With 21 years of nursing experience and 16 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, caring for others has always been more than my profession—it's my calling.
My passion for Functional Medicine became deeply personal when I found myself searching for answers to my own health concerns.
After suffering from migraines for nearly 20 years, I finally experienced relief when an underlying hormonal imbalance was identified and treated. My journey with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, MTHFR genetic variants, and histamine intolerance further opened my eyes to the importance of looking at the whole person rather than isolated symptoms.
I had spent years caring for patients in a healthcare system where 15-minute appointments rarely allowed enough time to understand their complete health story. I knew every patient was a unique puzzle, yet I often felt I could examine only one corner of it.
I knew there had to be a better way.
That's why I founded Living Proof Functional Medicine—to create a practice where patients feel heard, their concerns are taken seriously, and their care is as individual as they are.
My Christian faith guides my calling to serve others, and my experiences as both a healthcare provider and a patient shape the compassion and dedication I bring to every appointment.

Your journey begins with being heard. During this comprehensive initial visit, we explore your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and wellness goals to identify potential contributing factors and determine appropriate testing.
Behind the Scenes: Includes provider review of your health history and intake information before your appointment.
Initial Lab Review & Plan of Care
90–120 Minutes | $450
More than a lab review—this is where we begin connecting the pieces of your health story. Includes interpretation of approximately 31–33 laboratory markers, correlation with symptoms, and a detailed written treatment plan incorporating individualized medical, hormone, supplement, nutritional, and lifestyle recommendations when appropriate.

Hormone Optimization Follow-Up
45 Minutes | $200
Typically scheduled approximately 12 weeks after initiating or adjusting hormone therapy. We review relevant hormone levels, evaluate symptom improvement and treatment response, and make adjustments when clinically indicated.

Comprehensive Follow-Up & Lab Review.
90 Minutes | $350
For established patients requiring comprehensive review of multiple laboratory panels, ongoing health concerns, and treatment progress. We evaluate changes, discuss findings, and refine your personalized care plan.
Behind the Scenes: Approximately two additional hours of provider work for laboratory interpretation, chart review, and care planning.
Specialized Functional Medicine Test Review & Plan of Care
90 Minutes | $400
An in-depth review of specialized testing, such as comprehensive stool analysis, advanced hormone evaluations, or other clinically indicated assessments. We discuss meaningful findings, correlate results with your symptoms, and develop an individualized treatment plan.
Behind the Scenes: Extensive specialty-test interpretation and personalized care planning.
Limited Problem-Focused Visit
30 Minutes | $150
A focused appointment for established patients with one specific concern requiring clinical evaluation beyond a portal message. Ideal for a medication question, changing symptom, or targeted treatment adjustment.
